Colt Starting and Training Program
Horses are valuable members of our family and business. We believe that gentle and reliable ranch horses create the lowest stress environment to handle cattle, and it is the safest way to observe and work them- no ATV’s or dirt bikes are used to gather or work cattle. In fact, horses are part of our operations year-round; colts and green horses are started and trained in all aspects of ranch work.
Horses that spend time with us leave ready to start a life as a ranch horse or will have a great foundation to head in any direction. The colt starting and training program is open to a limited number of outside horses annually. We pride ourselves on our horsemanship and the amount of time we spend in the saddle.
